About
Mountain Getaway is a Tiny Home! It may be only 400 sq ft but it packs all the amenities that you need for your stay in the Smoky Mountains. This Tiny Home has a small fire ring outside with a park grill and a picnic table so you can enjoy the outdoors. You can also relax on the deck and listen to the frogs in the nearby creek. As you go inside the Tiny Home to the left of the front door there is wrap around seating with a dinning table. The TV is located above the table. The couch and coffee table is to the right of the door. Walking straight into the Tiny Home is the kitchen that is fully stocked with all items to eat in if you so desire. To the right of the kitchen is a stacked washer and dryer. There is a hall closet to hang clothing or to store away your luggage. The bathroom has a stand up shower (no tub). The bedroom has a king bed and more storage. In the living room take the stairs up to a loft where there is also a king mattress and TV (the overall head room is 3 feet) it would be an idea spot for young children or your teenagers. At the top of the stairs on the left is a small storage area for the loft area.

The home was very very clean. I wish that more supplies were left in the homes. At the price that we pay it would be nice to have enough towels, toilet paper, detergents to last for how ever many days a person is renting for. BUT I always bring things from home so I don't run out. Thank you to everyone at Remax Cove Mountain Realty. Super super sweet and helpful. Would stay here again!!!!!

Very cute and very clean tiny house cabin. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the strip in Pigeon Forge but close enough to be near it all. Wonderful views. Very relaxing couple of days. So nice to have our own space rather than a hotel room. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The tiny home was great! Well maintained and organized. The community was clean restful and not crowded. Our cabin looked over a field with the mountains surrounding us and the “Smoke” floating across the tops of those mountains. I could just stay forever and never get board.

My husband and I loved this little cabin! We typically use our camper for mini vacations, but this trip was last minute and this cabin in an RV resort was perfect. Cabin was clean, comfortable and was stocked with basic kitchen items and plenty of bath towels. Was very quiet, the views of the mountains were beautiful. We loved the "less" congested area of Wears Valley, but only a 15-20 minute drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain National Park. My one and only complaint was there were no extra blankets only the comforters on the beds, ended up not being a problem, the heat kept the cabin warm.

We've stayed with Cove Mountain Realty for many years and have always had a good experience. Cabins are always clean and in good condition. We would rather stay in Wears Valley away from the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge and gatlinburg but close enough to visit resturants and shops.

We had a great time staying in the tiny house. It had everything we needed and was our home away from home. The washer and dryer was especially handy after days of hiking. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the solitude of the Smokies,but, still a quick drive to all the local attractions.

Very nice and roomy. Only prob was house keeper obviously didn't look in nor clean refrigerator because the previous renter had left a gallon of milk that was half used in the fridge and it was still there when we checked in. Other than that, we loved it

Pros: nice location adjacent to the town of wears valley with some wineries and stores within a couple minutes, but without all the traffic and people you find in PF or Gatlinburg. Very clean and nice amenities.
Cons: needed more kitchen utensils like a can opener, colander, potholders, additional dish towels, etc. There is nothing in the kitchen but dishware for 4, pots, and a couple spatulas.
Note: the listing shows a pool bit that pool is NOT on the property. It is a public pool 2.5 miles away that you can use for free. It was a nice pool but really cold as we were there in late May.

For the cost, I was extremely satisfied with the accommodations. The place was just about spotless clean. I purposely choose Wears Valley for our stays because of the proximity to both the National Park and Pigeon Forge. You can get your peace and quiet, but can also drive just down the road for all the tourist attractions. I do believe these tiny homes will become very popular in the current economic climate. My only 2 complaints would be about the slow wifi, and that you really have to ration your hot water for showers. But again, you just can't beat this for the price. I would rather stay here than a hotel. Most large cabins are ungodly expensive these days, and are now built so close together. These tiny homes really are the best bang for the buck. All staff we dealt with were extremely kind and helpful. We lucked out and had great neighbors too. While not our exploring, we spent most of our time on the porch. My one suggestion to really top these tiny homes off would be a screened in porch. Also, if you plan on doing a lot of hiking, you may want to bring your own door mat to wipe your feet. Regardless of the very few MINOR cons, we will definitely be staying here again. So long as the price does not skyrocket, as other places have.

Mountain Getaway was literally like home away from home. So cozy! Very clean with ample parking. We loved sitting out on the deck at night. And the game table was a bonus! Only a 7 minute drive to Pigeon Forge. The only "complaint" I have is that the shower head is very low, I felt like I was doing the limbo when washing my hair, you can imagine how my 6.5 ft husband felt.

There was chip crumbs under the covers on the sheets of the upstairs bed when we arrived, so our children were grossed out to sleep up there. There’s also some electrical issues at this cabin. The breaker tripped about 10 times during our stay. We noticed the electrical box was open when we arrived, so this must’ve also been an issue with the previous guest or cleaning crew before our arrival.
There are a few pots to cook with, but no pans for cooking. Keep that in mind. We bought pizzas and other meals to cook, only to realize there were zero pans in the house :)
The furniture was very accommodating, the views are beautiful, the layout is perfect. It’s very quiet and peaceful.

Great tiny home. First time to stay in one and would define to do it again. We are a family of four and it was a great stay for us. It’s just far enough from all the activity in town that it was so easy to relax. Sitting in the little porch drinking coffee and just staring at the mountains was super relaxing. 10 out of 10. We will definitely stay here again

We loved staying in the tiny house. It was just close enough to town that the drive wasn't terrible. Plus it wasn't crowded and no traffic. I would recommend this campground/rental to anyone going to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. I would like to suggest to Cove Mountain that the area close to the steps needs to have some pavers or more gravel. It was extremely wet and standing with water while we were there due to the rain.

Good location, but the loft's bed sheet was not clean, over left food was under the bed sheet. One soap and one toilet paper roll for three people for three nights. One afternoon we need stay inside because the neighbor's RV emptied the waste and the smell was horrible.

We supply a “starter” pack of paper products. We recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for your stay. If you need to purchase anything there is a Dollar General store in the valley (right past our office going toward Pigeon Forge).
