Perfect for a couple! Located in our peaceful spacious campground, this log sided all wood interior park model offers grand views of the surrounding mountains from the large deck and covered hot tub. Paved private roads for those morning or evening walks or run. You are only two miles from the Wears Cove Entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy sitting around the campfire on those cool mountain nights. You are only a short walk or bicycle ride to the fishing pond, covered picnic area, swimming pool and concession stand which is open during the summer months. You are welcome to bring your golf cart! Plenty of room to park a motorcycle or car trailer. Paved parking and easy access for motorcycle riders. This rustic, nicely furnished park model is your perfect, affordable mountain get-away and our campground staff is available to assist you.

My husband and I were very pleased with the registration process. We called Cove Mountain Realty and Lamar was great. For the most part Almost Camping was nice. I was a little disappointed that the screened porch had no furniture to sit out there and have morning coffee. The couch and chair were a little uncomfortable, but other than that it was fine. We would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Almost Camping! The cottage was clean and comfortable which provided a most relaxing experience. The fireplace was cozy and the hot tub was phenomenal! It was a great place to relax and unwind without the hustle and bustle of the downtown scene. We will return next year!

The cabin was clean and very relaxing enjoyed the quietness of the area the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The only criticism would be that the place needs brighter bulbs inside and out but other than that it was a great place to stay.

The cabin was absolutely awesome! We loved it and our kids had a blast. Every morning there was a rabbit out front which they thought was the coolest thing. And the lightning bugs were amazing. We will definitely be staying again!!

Far enough away from crowds but close to both hiking in smokys and activities in pigeon forge and gaitlinburg. Located in an RV park but never felt we were around a crowd. All local shops and restaurants in Wears Valley were extremely friendly.

This is a very private and quiet location. Could not ask for more. Our only complaints are the The loveseat and chair are very uncomfortable and gave us a sore back hopefully they will take this review and replace with a couch and loveseat with one of comfort and that you can stretch out on, right now there is no place to lay out and watch TV after a hard day. We both left with sore backs from the existing. And all the knives were so dog they would not even cut a potato. But again that being our only complaint it is a very nice place.

Vacation rental was great. The one thing that either I missed or wasn't made clear is that it's part of an RV park and not more secluded on side of mountain/ trees. I thought the view was more of right there but it wasn't. IT WAS STILL AMAZING AND PERFECT. We will rent here again. Cozy, basic things are all there. We used the grill a couple times. It's far enough away from town yet right there. It is a very private, set back long driveway. So very personal. Great

We had a great time in this adorable cabin. The hot tub was wonderful. The only thing there were no pot holders in the cabin. We will book directly with cove mountain next time. We booked thur an airbnb and the cleaning fee was over $ 200.00. Had a wonderful time. Will stay here again.

We loved the cabin and the location. It is the perfect size for a couple, with all the essentials. We loved the screened-in porch for our pet. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch with the hot tub! We would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

Had a great time. This was the fifth time in Almost Camping and Almost Camping too. Hubby likes Almost Camping, I prefer Almost Camping Too, so we alternate each year. I love the atmosphere of the camp ground. Did nothing this year but relaxed. Looking forward to next year.

Loved the location ,cabin is small but just fine for 2 people .Easy access to the park and Cades Cove my favorite places .Hot tub was great and large front porch and screened in porch with rockers.Not real good WIFI but didn't go there to be on computer and cutting large tree for a better view from front room window would be great. I will rent again.

The cabin was perfect for our little weekend getaway with our pup. When we walked in all of the lights were off except for the ones on the Christmas tree in the living room. They had Christmas music playing which made walking in seem about like one of those Hallmark movies. I absolutely loved it. It was clean and not to far from all of the attractions.

This was a nice clean little cabin! Only downfall is that there are campers next door with RV’s. The hot tub is on the porch so if you wanted to enjoy your evening “peace and quiet” you couldn’t really without seeing other people outside. But it’s definitely amazing apart from that! Their bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Also, great fishing spot at the front of the park where you can fish for free

Everything was good with our stay. The only thing we saw as a problem is the lighting at night when approaching the steps to the deck. There are some solar lights located on the deck but they did not work/were not on & it was a difficult to see the steps. Also the motion light at the entry door does not stay on long enough to be able to see to enter code.

Great view of the mountains, very peaceful. The only things that needs Improved is the Internet. It was really slow in connecting. Also the cleaning needs improved. The vents where the ac comes out looks like it hadn't been cleaned. We had to do that. The shower area was very small but not horrible. Overall the cabin was nice and waking up to looking at the mountains was nice.
It was the perfect little cabin for a couples get away! The property was very well maintained and clean. It's outside of town which is good and bad depending what you want to do!
