Bear's Den

The cabin is a 'tiny house' so it's exactly what we expected upon arrival. Everything was nice and very clean. The park was quiet. The perfect location for everything we had planned. Beautiful mountain view...It snowed one of our days there and made everything even more beautiful. The staff was amazing in getting my daughter's stuffed animal back to us when we realized we left it behind.The only downside we experienced was a hot water issue. Only because the tank is small and cannot support 4 showers back to back. But we remembered that from another review so we planned accordingly for the rest of our stay. But I'd recommend this cabin to other small families or individuals wanting a quiet getaway.

This cabin has pros & cons, like everywhere else. My husband & I stayed here. My husband is not super tall, but he barely fit in the bed. The bed was not that comfy to cram 2 people into. The cookware was not very clean due to the people before us didn’t wash them well-no dishwasher. The rest of the cabin was very clean! Not really any storage space, it really is a tiny place (280 sq ft). The front door doesn’t seal great, so a little drafty. Coffee pot only holds 5 cups, not enough for 2 people if you are avid coffee drinkers. One big thing is no towel racks in bathroom, only a small wood “hook” that not even a hand towel would stay on, slips right off. No counter space at all in bathroom, no place to put anything while you shower.

This is an RV resort. There was someone in an RV directly behind us and we couldn’t open any windows because of the smell from their septic.

It depends on your needs: If you only need a place to shower & sleep, this is perfect. If you plan on spending any time in the cabin, it’s not really conducive to much. Check in and out was super easy. The company answered all my questions in a timely manner before we arrived. It has a beautiful Mountain View!!

Would I recommend this? It all just depends on what you’re looking for.

Adorably cute inside and out. As small as it looks it really was big enough for my husband and I, along with our 2 ten year olds. You really don’t have to bring a thing. Very quiet and peaceful area and close to Smokey Mountains National Park and Pigeon Forge. And if you need something Dollar General is right next door. We have found our new spot that we will be staying at during our yearly family visits. We have even recommended this place to our Friends and Family.

We loved our stay at Bear's Den. It is a cozy little cabin for sure, but it has everything you need for a good home base in the Smokies. The setting is very peaceful, but not far from all there is to do.

The cabin was great , quiet and located close enough to downtown pigeon forge without being in town. My only issue was the pool, it's a 5minute drive to get there, closes at 6pm, and was closed a whole day for weather even though it only rained a bit before the pool was supposed to open(10am). Everything else was awesome.

This was a memorable experience at a beautiful, quaint resort. The remote Smoky Mountains are among the best outdoor locations on Earth. Small houses or cabins are offered at reasonable rates. I stayed alone and the tiny house was perfect for the remote work I was doing. Internet was great too. The place slept 3 comfortably, and one bed was a double that could have added room for a fourth person.

We had an awesome weekend and stay at the Bears Den. The tiny cabin was super clean and functional. Everyone there is so nice. Convenient location, it's secluded yet so close to all of the attractions. We always enjoy all of the moonshine places and the Tennessee Shine down the road is great. We had breakfast right down the road at the Shaggy Moose, great food and it was so cute and cozy. We will def stay here again!

We took our two small boys for a weekend getaway and this cabin was perfect for us! It has all the essentials and was in the heart of wears valley. We will be back for sure!

I had a great experience staying at Cove Mountain Rentals! I stayed in the Bears Den tiny home this time and loved every minute of it! I love the property up there and the view! It is always a great time staying there! Highly recommend!!

We loved our cabin! It was perfect for what we needed and exactly like the pictures. Employees were very nice. My only complete was the small water heater. My shower got cold after 5 minutes. So then the next time I had to turn the water off when I soaped up.

Good little home for the price, great location where the home was. Only downside was how awkwardly angled the tv was in the living room/kitchen and their was no towel holder in the bathroom for the shower and no toilet paper holder on the wall, other than that it was a fun stay.

Overall experience was good. The bathroom was lacking a few things. For example, toilet paper holder, towel rack or towel hook. There was no place to put your clothes while you were showering. Pretty inconvenient. Also, I was a little upset that I couldn't get a refund for the for leaving one day short. We had a call that my daughter how come down with covid and we needed to go home. I would have thought at least we would have gotten a discount.
