Creek Song

This cabin is wonderful! We stayed with two couples, and the space was ideal. The bedrooms are spacious and the living/kitchen area is open and great for cooking and still fellowshipping. The pool table and hot tub were great as well. Plus, you can hear the creek any time you open a door which really adds to the experience. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was very nice. You could hear the creek even with the doors closed and it was so calming and peaceful. Wish we would've had a longer time to spend here.

This is a very nice cabin in need of minor upkeep. The interior of the cabin is nicely decorated and well laid-out. The mattresses seemed worn out (or maybe are just overly soft). I woke up with a sore back the first few mornings and did not sleep well the entire trip. The cabin is fairly secluded but still a short drive to the main highway. The creek is relaxing and the deck area is very nice but also in need of repair. A few broken, missing, and loose boards meant we had to watch the children closely, but they enjoyed walking over the creek. The driveway has a tight turn that was not bad in the SUV that we came in, but we were glad that we had not come in our F250. The living areas of the cabin were very clean but spiderwebs are visible overhead in several rooms. Overall we enjoyed this cabin but would be hesitant to stay again due to the mattresses.

Cabin was amazing we enjoyed our stay there. The only thing I would change would be the driveway it was a little tough getting in and out. Other then that it was great.

Overall the cabin was nice. We enjoyed our stay. This is just an honest review to try to be of help to others. The inside was very nice. There were only two thing that we saw that needs to be addressed. The heating and cooling vents in the floor were very nasty and the bottom was broken on one of the living room chairs. Everything else inside was very nice. The main reason we chose this cabin was because all the steps and walkways looked amazing to our grandchildren in the pictures. We were all very disappointed when we saw them. They were in very bad shape to the point of needing to be closed off. So if you’re going because the walkways and steps, I wouldn’t. The check-in and check-out went perfectly and the location is very nice.

Cabin was clean. We enjoyed sitting out in the swing listening to the crewk. Hot tub was great. Beds were comfortable. Cabin could use some updating but it was perfectly fine for us for a quiet anniversary weekend!

We had a very relaxing trip to the cabin! We are semi local but love coming for a weekend trip to relax. Only complaint was the fireplace not working, otherwise it was wonderful.

This cabin is amazing! We’ve rented many cabins over the years, this is one of the best. If you love the sound of water, this is the cabin for you! The creek makes sitting on the deck so peaceful. The cabin was exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. If you are looking for a private and quiet place to stay you will not be disappointed. We absolutely love this cabin and will definitely be back again soon!

It was over all a good experience. The parking was a bit of a challenge. A very narrow driveway. And a pretty steep climb to up the mountain to your location. And if you have an issue with steps there are a lot of them. The condition of the cabin was good we really enjoyed the pool table. But they do need new pool sticks for the table. It would also help if the driveway was marked so you don't miss it coming up the steep incline. The sound of the creek was very relaxing and there was beautiful scenery. I would also recommend them putting up a guard at the driveway where you park.

We had such a great time staying here! The creek sounds like pouring rain and is so calming! When you use the hot tub, be sure to locate the jets which are like knobs and not on the main panel. The driveway is narrow. We only pulled all the way up when unpacking and packing. Otherwise we parked up at the top. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! Two of the people I was with are going to buy those same pillows. The only negative is the grill. There are two of them and neither worked. We were able to use the oven to cook our pork chops, but would have rather used the grill. Some lights all the way down to the walk out patios would be a plus but it was just gorgeous during the day! Loved this cabin and would definitely recommend it!

The cabin and views were amazing. Waking up to the sound of the waterfall was so soothing.
My only complaint was there was a brush fire during our stay and we had to be evacuated. We never heard from the property owners or the resort management about it. We had to rely on the alert system. We did miss our last two nights due to the evacuation and had to get a hotel in town.

We had a great time in this fantastic cabin. The views are amazing, the sound of the creek is relaxing, the beds were comfy. The pool table could use a little TLC but we had a great time using it. The heater is either capped or needs repair, we couldn’t get the temp on the main floor above 67 during the day and 52 at night. Overall our stay was outstanding and we would definitely stay here again.

We love this cabin, its our 3rd time staying here. The outside deck is absolutely beautiful. What makes it interesting is when the creek is full of running water down from the mountain. The relaxing sound is comforting. I do wish all of the decking lights were in working order.

The creek running by the cabin was so nice. It was very peaceful. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The cabin did have lots of cob webs and there were a few dirty spots on the fireplace. We enjoyed our stay despite these few minor things!

At least once a year my husband and I get a cabin in the Smokies, we pick a different one each time. We had a great time but it’s nothing over the top. We’ve seen everything there is to see in town so we rarely leave once arriving and we did enjoy ourselves!

Pros:
We only pick cabins with hot tubs because that’s our favorite part of the stay. Nice tub, it’s on the bottom deck, so make sure you bring everything down on the first trip.
Pool table, we played on it each night leading up to hot tub time. The table is falling apart LoL and only one stick is useable but we’re definitely not professionals so it served our purpose.
Beds, super comfy but too oversized for the rooms making it feel very cramped, also a ton of dust underneath.
Decks and river are really neat and sound like it’s inside the cabin during and after a rain. However, I almost busted my butt on the lower decks by the water because they’re covered in moss and mold. A light pressure washing would do wonders!

Cons:
No WiFi, I was really worried about not being able to play our music but my husband got enough signal to where it didn’t bother us (iPhone X).Now my phone didn’t work at all (iPhone 11plus) and we’re with ATT.
They should definitely give the photographer a bonus because the pictures make it look much bigger than it is. The downstairs is very cramped with furniture. Just saying it would help taking out that wooden drawer thing by the fridge and one of the cloth chairs. Also that glass table is an accident waiting to happen because it’s super unstable. People rearrange the furniture because it’s not comfortable or as functional the way it’s set now.

The location is breathtaking, the house is beautiful, homey, and warm with the fireplace. The staff at Cove Mountain Resorts are amazing and kind. This is one of the best places to visit and we’ll always remember our lovely getaway

Beautiful views from every deck! Relax and have fun with a game of pool, and enjoy the hot tub.

Great place to stay

A beautiful cabin located in a beautiful secluded area.

Our experience was great at Creek Song. Secluded yet close to town for an overall relaxing trip! The cabin was very clean and cozy and its beautiful inside and out!

Good except the driveway needs some improvement s.

Loved listening to the water flow and kids loved the hot tub! Cozy cabin in the woods. Beautiful views!! Lots of stairs.. not great for small children

Excellent!! Very relaxing weekend with great friends. Just a safety precaution that management may not be aware of,the 4x4 post used as a brace on the walkway had shifted in the creek and has a severe bow in it. It was beautiful scenery!!

This was a wonderfull cabin the constant running water was a great way to relax on the many balconies and walkway seating. Its close to another cabin but eith tree cover u could barely see it and i never heard any other people! The driveway was a little tricky but not bad i would definitely return for another stay here

The cabin itself was fine. Pretty clean. The hot tub worked well but have no idea where the shared pool was. So, while the cabin was fine I would not rent it again and definitely wont recommend it due to the treacherous driveway. It is VERYY narrow and at the bottom you cross a small creek with a drop on each side. At the top of the driveway, which again, is VERY narrow, the is a sheer drop off on one side, and the mountain on the other. The side of the driveway with the driveway is covered in slippery moss. Backing out in the daylight is scary enough. I wouldnt even drive forward on it at night!

We loved this cabin and the seclusion with its location. The running waters that are all around it and never ending were just perfect. The cabin was clean and awesome, as advertised. I will definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough about the property management company. They saved us from a bad situation with another company and it was much appreciated. I loved the cabin except for the location of the hot tub and the driveway. The hot tub is on the first level deck. The living areas are off the 2nd and 3rd level decks. So, you have a flight of stairs to descend and ascend just to use the hot tub. There is no other reason to go up and down those stairs. People with bad knees and backs and hips should keep that in mind. The driveway is dicey, especially when it rains, and it rained all week! The pool table needs leveled. The beds were comfy. I loved the privacy of it. I would stay there again if I wasn’t interested in using the hot tub.

Some things need to looked at for maintenance. Would have been nice if all of the cat walk lights worked on the decking. At least 3/4 didn't and were hanging off. washer/dryer were filthy. Pool table is in bad shape. It's one reason we pick a cabin.
Overall the cabin is just needs some deep cleaning and a few things looked. The creek is another reason we have picked this one 2 yrs in a row.

We very much enjoyed the cabin! It was clean and comfy, and everything was in great shape. Nice comfy big beds! . The stream was peaceful to listen to.. Driveway is a bit tricky, but its to be expected. There are many steps, so I would avoid taking little kids or elderly, but it was perfect for out stay. We will come back!

We found that most all of the exterior rope and landscape lighting did not work making it impossible to go down on the cat walks in the evening. We had our wedding at this cabin. It was the perfect cabin for this. So many different photo spots & the walk out deck was perfect for the ceremony. The driveway is a little sketchy, so be very careful coming & going. The creeks on the property were perfect. Listening to them was very relaxing. A little disappointed there was no wifi but it was ok. We didnt have a very long stay.

We loved everything about the except the fact that every drawer was littered with mouse poop

The stay was great, it was dealing with the people at the rental center that was upsetting. Call in for the review and told the man that a light socket needed to be fixed, and the doors in the bedroom on the main floor needed to be adjusted and he hang up on me. The rope lighting needs to be replaced and will and fixing the light on the driveway. I give the property management company a low rating because the one man hang up on me, but the other people was outstanding and called me to see that we got there ok and was check in ok.

Outstanding cabin so peaceful on the walk way flowers was blooming birds was sing. Loved it will rent again.
