Everything was wonderful after we cleaned home ourselves

Our stay at Sunset Magic cabin was a good one. Our family of 11 had plenty of space for teenagers and adults to have their own areas. Cabin was in good condition, five bedrooms and baths were great, comfortable beds.
We liked the choices of entrance roads to the cabin, one of them was convenient to Metcalf Bottoms and River Road. However, parking was tight for five cars. But it was manageable. Needed more rocking chairs on deck, but two tables with chairs was nice.

Needs better road signs in and out. Road is very twisty, curvy, and when they say you can't pass another car, you can't. Bears on both decks, felt very uncomfortable sitting outside. We stationed lookout people. House was clean, nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom, washer/dryer were very nice amenity. We had an awesome time, the cabin was perfect for the 12 of us. Wish we could find something like this everywhere we go. Book it.

The house was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. My family of 9 had plenty of room to sleep, play games and relax. Mike was very responsive to any questions I had. We plan on returning next year for our annual family vacation.

Beautiful views, beautiful cabin, close to many great tourists sites/attractions, but the roads to it are a little tight and winding, parking is good for about 5 vehicles, but that's close to maximum. Repeat customer, been here 6 times and already booked another, we love it, well I hope this helps!

We stay in this cabin once sometimes twice a year and it never disappoints!! The kids have blast and we host family and friends and there is plenty of room. The view is magical and we always see a bear which excites the kids and adults as well. We are already planning our next stay.

Amazing views. Great cabin. Cabin had everything we needed with plenty of space. Nice open kitchen, dining and living room area. Great for everyone to hang out and play games. From the back deck, we got to see mamma bear with her two cubs walk along the edge of the trees ❤️❤️

View was beautiful. Property well kept. Everything comfortable except beds in double room in basement. They were meant for children not adults. Some turns on road getting to house difficult for large vehicle. W had a 12 passenger van.

The cabin was clean and had great views. We even had bears walk by the cabin. The only downfall was the lower level was hot and humid all week.

The cabin was perfect to fit two families comfortably and offer a great view of the mountains (and of course, the sunset). It was great to have a bathroom attached to each bedroom, and had a jacuzzi tub in each. Clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend! Plus, we saw bears and had one cub come up on the porch!

The cabin was spacious enough to accommodate all eleven of us. It was clean...except around the hot tub where cigarette butts and trash had been left. My grands enjoyed the game room and spent a lot of time there.

Beautiful mountain views, beautiful cabin, and nice folks at cove mountain, what more could you ask for?

The cabin was great plenty of room for our family of 9. We really enjoyed the air hockey, and pool, getting to spend much needed family time. It was in a great location the road was a little hard to get up when we first got there due to the snow they just got but that was to be expected as we chose to stay further away from the city. The view every night definitely lived up to its name it was sunset magic. Would recommend it to stay

We had met my brothers and sisters at sunset magic for a get together, there are 11 of us.. we walked in and immediately felt welcomed! We had so much fun exploring Gatlinburg and pigeon forge, but the best memories we’re staying in the cabin and playing cars around the beautiful big table! And we actually saw some bear Cubs out in the yard playing.. a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back again!!

Had a great time at this cabin and were able to see a lot of wildlife, including bears a few times. A few complaints we have is the WiFi, even logging into our own Comcast account, with 11 people, only a few could access at a time. Wish they offered Wi-Fi especially when half your group are teenagers! The other complaint would be the TV in a couple of the rooms. Could benefit from being updated. The little box TVs were difficult to watch on. The pool table and air hockey table could use some updating as well. The shower door in the loft was difficult to close, and when maintenance looked at it, we were told it was an expensive fix and to "just pull it hard". We were worried about water getting all over, but they didn't seem to want to do anything about it. Overall, though we had a great trip and enjoyed staying with Cove Mountain again!

Beautiful cabin, wonderful views. Immaculate!!!Disappointed in Wifi!! Tired to create a Comcast account per owner directions as we had 2 college kids and 2 business owners. (I was told that Wifi wouldn’t be an issue) I spent most ofSunday morning attempting to get an account but could not. I was supposed to hear a resolution by Monday and sadly no one ever contacted me. A lot of going down into town for Wifi! A suggestion to the owner would be to include Wifi into the rental price. Other than that, everything was wonderful, aside from also not seeing any bears!! Next time!!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. I called customer service that morning before I left and they were very helpful and accurate with directions. I have recommended this cabin to several family and friends.

Overall, it was a wonderful time. We enjoyed the time at Sunset Magic. Our only complaint was the cabin could have been freshen up by housekeeping prior to our arrival. The cabin had all the essentials, was spacious and my family enjoy our stay.

We had a great time. Everything with the cabin was just as they said it would be. The ladies at Mountain Cove Realty were great and really helpful. It was nice to have a local number to call so any issues could be taken care of right away.

This cabin was super clean and spacious. We loved our stay there. Seeing a bear out the back door was a bonus:) Only one disappointment. In the amenities it looks as if the pool is part of the reservation. It's not. It cost $5 per person 3 yrs of age and older for a day pass.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at sunset magic. The roads to the cabin are very windy. I wouldn’t want to stay here during the winter months. There was ample parking for our party with 4 vehicles. However, in the picture the parking appeared to be on level ground, which was not the case. Turning vehicles around required some ingenuity. The only issue was the microwave went out the first night. Maintenance came the next day and it worked for a while and broke again. We didn’t call and report it again until we checked out. There was plenty of dishes, utensils, and most any gadget you would need to cook and serve a meal for a group.

The overall stay was pleasant, but upon arriving the bedrooms were all very hot, and the air was locked at 70 degrees. The thermostat was located in the living room area which was the coolest room. When I called the company about this issue I was told “mam, 70 degrees is not hot and basically hung up on. Well, we had a thermal sensor in my husbands tools and the bedrooms all read 82 degrees. We had to buy box fans for every bedroom. I would not recommend this cabin in the summer if you don’t like to sleep in 82-84 degree rooms.

Love the cabin. Amazing views. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy time together. One thing we found very disturbing is that we were under constant video surveillance. At no time were we ever informed that we were being watched. I understand someone wanting to watch their property, but I feel as if people should be informed. The video system also has audio which I’m checking to see pretty sure it’s illegal to video and audio record without the person being watched notified. Very disturbing, Cove Mt didn’t tell us we under video surveillance and it’s mentioned no where in the agreement or the website. Will no longer stay with Cove Mountain after 8 yrs of only staying at a Cove Mt rental.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Magic. The cabin was beautiful and the views were amazing! There were 9 of us and plenty of room to feel comfortable. The game room was a nice touch! Our only complaints are that the neighbors are closer than they appear in the images and you can often hear them talking on the porch at night. Also, there was no warning about the winding hairpin turns and narrow road coming up the mountain.

This cabin has beautiful views with sprawling decks and nice common areas.

The only minor gripes are not having WIFI, and not being able to turn on the gas fireplaces in the main floor bedrooms.

The views from this cabin are stunning. Our visiting bears each day was just icing on the cake. We loved watching them. Cabin was spacious and well maintained. Some of the matresses could be replaced, but overall - great place.

Sunset Magic was everything described. All rooms are spacious, clean, and the kitchen is fully stocked. It’s not in town so you get he mountain experience but it is a short drive to town for shopping. I loved this place

We were a group of 11. The house held us more than comfortably. The view is magnificent.We were satisfied with our stay. The staff at Cove Mountain was professional and willing to help, we only needed directions to the realty office. The house was in good conditions, but after being in it you discover it wasn't as clean as it looked. The house was awfully dusty, the blinds had build up dust that rolled into little balls, the bar stool were so dusty you could see the dust when sitting in the Sitting and dining area.The directions to the house was not completely right, follow your GPS. There was a tip envelop for the cleaners, I don't see why, they did not come clean for us, we kept the place clean even after leaving we left the house in order.If you are eerie of heights this is not the place for you.We were, but overall it was a good experience and a great house. I think the owner should update the tv's and put one in the loft. You had to search for which remote work on which tv.Piegon Forge/ Sierville is a great area to visit. Go there. Again the house is magnificent. One last comment, the mattresses need to be a better type.

Under amenities it says internet without mentioning that you need to be a comcas customer. In the pictures it does qualify it but I booked because I read amenities only. That was a disappointment and amenities needs o be corrected.

We had a girls weekend at the cabin to celebrate several birthdays. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and other cookware. Refrigerator was clean and nice and big to store all our food. Bedrooms were clean as were the bathrooms & the gass fire place worked well.

I had never used this before and everything was really great. The cabin was wonderful, clean and well equipped. Any questions I had were answered right away. Cabin not easy to find but was great once we learned our way around.

Everything was exactly as described and Mike, came and helped out with a couple of problems we had in a super timely fashion. They were fixed and caused us no inconvenience at all! Would highly recommend to others!

5th annual in-laws weekend. Cabin was great inside and out. Cabin equiped well, furniture upstairs could use alittle TLC, cushions kept pushing forward. Agency is wonderful to work with. Saw bears and a fox, even in the fog the views are amazing.

Great cabin! Beautiful view of the mountains! Great space for a large group. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Nice to a good amount of parking space for four vehicles. The cabin was totally equip with everything. We enjoy cooking a big dinner for the families and the kitchen was well equip with every utensils needed to prepare a full size meal. Now that's a BIG THANK YOU!!!

We loved it! The online pictures were helpful, but the actual property and scenic views are just breathtaking.

A couple of the mattresses need replacing, but were doable for a short stay. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. The cabin was very clean.

We had a wonderful experience. Our first evening there a mother bear and her two cubs wandered onto the small back yard where she stopped and took time to nurse her cubs. We were able to view them for about 10 min. It was truly a great start for our vacation in the Smokey Mountains. The only drawback was the driveway up to the cabin. We were not prepared for the very steep, very narrow road. Of course, once you get there, the view is fabulous and makes it worth the trip up. Truly was Sunset Magic.

We had a wonderful time. the property was excellent and very clean. every thing was just like it was shown on their website. The folks at Remax were the ones that handled the rental and they were always very helpful and nice. I would surely recommend this cabin for renting if you want to enjoy the pigeon forge and Gatlinburg area, it is a very peaceful get away location. my family and myself had a wonderful time. rent this you won't be disappointed.
