Beautiful views, very relaxing and peaceful.

Loved the location of the cabin, it was very private. The cabin was pretty and very clean. Didn't care much for the staircase, but otherwise loved the cabin.

Hatcher’s Mountain cabin has an amazing view just as advertised. Being in Wears Valley we were away from all the people but yet still only 15 min drive into Pigeon Forge. We like staying in Wears Valley cause it’s quit and we can be in the National park in 10 min. The only issue we had was finding the cabin. Google maps has two Indigo Ln’s and not a Indigo way. The directions say driveway just past lighted lamppost. What was failed to be mentioned was the lamp post was burnt in the Hatcher Mountain-Indigo Lane fire 3/30/22. There is now Cove Mountain Reality sign in its place. over all we enjoyed our short stay at the Hatcher’s Mountain Cabin.

We stayed at this cabin in 2014 and were thrilled that we could rent it again. The views from the upper and lower decks were spectacular! We ate breakfast and dinner there most days (7 nights). Location to GSMNP was one of our reasons for staying as we hiked daily. The hot tub was enjoyable.
Two cautions: road leading to cabin is steep and narrow. The winding stairway to lower floor, where bed is, isn’t for a anyone with balance issues.

WOW What an amazing little cabin. Perfect. So secluded. So quiet. And the view of the mountains was breathtaking. And the hot tub on the porch was perfect after a long day of hiking!! The bed mattress was so comfortable, the shower water pressure was great!! And the tv actually worked!! We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

I was able to book this cabin just a week ahead of time for a late-planned weekend getaway. I liked the location being 30 min drive to Dollywood and 1 hr drive to Cades Cove. The cabin was nicely secluded from the heavy tourist areas and spaced out from the other cabins, but just a 5 min drive from the main road with some diners and coffee shops. Cabin was well-kept and clean with plenty of towels provided. Perfect size for 2 people. We liked the hot tub and the back patio view of the mountains was pretty. We wished some ground coffee or tea was provided to make, so next time I would bring some (they provide just salt, pepper, and cookware/dishes). The gravel road to get to our cabin was unmarked so we were unsure if it was right at first since it was night, but we followed Google maps and found it. The gravel road to the cabin is a little steep and winding, but we were able to drive fine on it without 4-wheel drive during the fall. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the Smokey Mountains!

Hatcher Mountain cabin was beautiful. Staircase can be a little tricky and downstairs shower water pressure wasn’t the best but the cabin was clean and comfortable for our honeymoon. Views were spectacular. We will definitely be back!

The property was just like it was reported. The cabin was clean. Had a couple of glitches that were taken care of right away by the owner. Would recommend this place to friends or family. Enjoyed several restaurants that were on the main highway. I would recommend a vehicle that has 4 wheel drive, had an exciting ride up to a cabin (we were lost and it wasn't our cabin) that had a few ruts in the road, but it was an adventure and to me that is what vacation is all about. I have never has a more relaxing time sitting on the balcony and enjoying Gods creation.

Absolutely love this cabin! This was our 3rd time staying here! The view is gorgeous. It was the perfect weather.

Our fourth stay with Cove Mountain Realty. The rental process is always very easy and the staff helpful and courteous. Hatchers Mountain was beautiful with a great view. Fall colors were spectacular. The cabin is perfect for a couple or small family. Private but not too far from hiking and biking.

We loved our stay at Hatcher’s Mountain. It was perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary trip. The views from the cabin were amazing. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

We love Hatchers Mountain! Awesome view!! 3rd time we’ve stayed here and it’s great everytime! Always super clean and the hot tub is amazing after spending the day exploring the mountains.

This was a nice cabin and had a very nice view. We enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was finding the cabin. And the drive up to the cabin was scary at night. So I recommend everyone to go before dark. Overall a great stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Hatcher’s Mountain Cabin. The view was a great one! The cabin was clean. The only 2 things that were cons about this cabin is — the water pressure could be better and the steps were tricky... but those aren’t really complaints. I’d stay again.

Our last night we were in the hot tub, my husband said ”bear” he jumped out of the tub, I was still in the tub..because I thought he was teasing, a mama and 2 babies! They trying to climb up to the hot tub! I believed him then!

Buy far the best stay we have had so far. Cabin view and location is to perfect. Hot tub was definitely hot.House keeping should look in kitchen cabinets and open hide abed every cleaning.

This cabin was located up in the mountains with a great view of the valley. Cabin was in great shape very clean and very comfortable. I woukd stay here again.

This was a cute and private cabin. We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin. It is very close to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The view from both decks are amazing! We loved waking up and having coffee while looking at the view. This was a perfect cabin for a honeymoon! I will warn people about the road, to get here after the main road, it is a one lane road and a gravel road once you see the sign and that’s kinda steep. But other than that we had a lot of fun on our honeymoon so thank you Cove Mountain Rentals!

This place is amazing! I am so glad we rented here. This will be our go to place for years to come!

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay at Hatchers Mountain. If you want a smaller cabin with a great view, a hot tub and a nice location then Hatcher’s mountain is perfect. It says it sleeps 4 but it would be tough to fit more than 3 in the cabin.

This cabin is secluded and offers the best views of Wears Valley in the area. Small but perfect for 2 people.

Overall a great cabin. A little hard to find as GPS tries to take you up the wrong road. Common sense makes it easy enough to find but some written directions in check-in instructions would be nice. My only complaint is related to the communication from the management company. We checked-in and assumed privacy but about 2 hours after check-in we heard a man outside on the porch and were not prepared for guests at this “private” cabin. I’ll spare you the details. Anyway, we quickly closed the curtains as he continued to drain the hot tub and refill it which was loud. After this he did lawn maintenance for the next 45 minutes. This would not have been a big deal hat it been COMMUNICATED to us so we were expecting the work and guests. I fault this to the rental company.

Don’t let this deter you from renting this ’s simply my way of complaining as the rental agency did not answer my emails. The cabin is great and the view is amazing. Perfect for a couples getaway.

We have rented this cabin several times, maybe five times. We love this location, there are none better. Can't see the neighbor's and rarely hear them but even then they can barely be heard. The view off the upper balcony is fantastic. Sit and view the far mountains and the valley. Look at the stars, watch the clouds, read a book, you it for home base for daily adventures into the mountains or area attractions. We love this place and recommend it and if we're ever going to the mountains again, we'll attempt to reserve this cabin but we noted a few things that were disappointing but not enough to keep us from coming back. (1) There was a significant about of dust on some of the surfaces, one in particular was the chest-of-drawers/nightstand next to the downstairs bed. Also the fixtures in the bathroom. I know a lot of people go through this cabin in a year but there's not excuse for not dusting the furniture. (2) The drains in the bathrooms drain really-really slowly. I can only imagine the amount of hair that must go down these drains and how often they must need cleaning but hey, that's part of being a Landlord/Property Manager. (3) The GFCI receptacle in the downstairs bathroom doesn't work and hasn't worked for a long time. (4) The downstairs smoke detector is in the drawer, not on the wall, battery removed. There is a second smoke detector upstairs that appears to be working.
Being the private folk that we are, we didn't ask anyone to come fix it while we were there but did notify management.
I still highly recommend this cabin and I will stay there again next time I'm in the mountains.

A treasure find! Perfect cabin for a quiet private getaway! We enjoyed the private location and hot tub, the cabin was well prepared for a vacation spot for our anniversary. Close to many sights and attractions we enjoyed being close to our cabin and getting out to see the sights. We will definitely come again!

We had a wonderful time at Hatcher Mountain! The view was excellent, the cabin was great too! We wished we were staying longer when it was time for us to leave! My husband was worried about getting bored way up there in the mountains but we found lots to keep us busy, liking hiking right from the cabin, using the hot tub, and general relaxing. Close enough to go to places and far enough away to feel all alone :) would love to stay here again! Highly recommend!!

Very cozy and secluded. Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. Very clean and well kept. I would recommend going to the customer service building and get the written instruction because the GPS directions took us to the wrong place.

Our stay was great! The cabin was everything we hoped it would be: clean, secluded, and cozy. Everything down to the bathrooms were in great shape! The property management company was very responsive and helpful with the few minor requests we had (new batteries for a TV remote and smoke alarm). At only about a 15 minute drive into town, this was the perfect combination of a private getaway while still being close to all of the restaurants and attractions we could want. While I agree with some of the other reviews that stated they would be concerned about getting to the property in the winter months, our trip over Thanksgiving was great and our sedan had no problem getting to the cabin. We definitely would consider staying again if we travel to this area in the future!

This cabin was exactly what I was wanting. I small, secluded place with a beautiful view. We would wake up each morning to a fantastic sunrise and Church bells from the valley below playing 3-4 different church hyms. It was WONDERFUL!
My Wife and I were celebrating our 30th Anniversary by hiking around the Great Smoky Mountains.

The cabin was tidy but the toilets were not well cleaned. The downstairs was a little musty for me so I slept upstairs. There was some animal chewing on the outside of the cabin every night, it kept me from falling asleep quickly. I could see the chew marks on the outside of the cabin and felt better when I could see that the critter was outside and not in the walls of the cabin. I loved the location as I wanted complete solitude. It was very easy to get to and a beautiful view.

We enjoyed our week there. View was beautiful, drive was a little steep going up but we made it. No way I would attempt in winter. Canin was perfect for us, only downfall that would keep us from bringing grandkids is the stairs but they are beautifully made! We did have to buy a pan to cook breakfast with bc the one there was warped but overall, we would come back. Very quiet and don't even know there are neighbors through the woods

Great private location with outstanding views. Close to local shopping and just minutes to hiking trails. The home was clean and the Hot Tub was great!

Hatcher's Mountain is a wonderful little cabin. Secluded, quiet and peaceful.
The stairs are a little tricky for older folks.
The cabin is beginning to show it's age, but still very clean and cozy.

This is our third time staying at Hatcher Mountain Cabin. We searched hard to find a cabin that was isolated, quiet and has a great view without costing an arm and a leg to rent. This cabin answers all of those requests. It is small, two 400 square foot levels but is perfect for two people and can handle a couple more without feeling to cramped. Easy access with the best view in Wear Valley. Your own private hiking trail should you not want to head into the park. It is rather steep on the Southern edge so be careful of slipping on the leaves. I wish to say a special thank you to the Hatcher Family for making this spot available to the public.

great for honeymooners- we loved it here!

My husband & I had our 1st vacation alone in 17yrs. We had a wonderful & peaceful time and can not wait to take another one. We will hopefully be back in March/April with our boys for their spring break. The area is beautiful and very easy to get around. Thank you Cove Mountain Realty for making everything easy.

We loved the location of the property and learning the family history of the farm. It was a great place for a last minute get away. The check in and out was convenient. The sheets and towels were clean. General cleaning could have been better. Exhaust fans, blinds, and stove hood need attention. The binoculars were also broken. A better grill and some lounge chairs would be a nice touch. With these minor issues, I would still stay here again.

The cabin was great. The owner of the cabin was very receptive and quick to address a small concern with the cabin.
